Biography Shiomi, Nana (1956 - )

Shiomi Nana studied at the Tama Art University in Tokyo between 1975 and 1981. She seated exhibiting around the same time, mainly in Japan, but soon after her work could be seen all over the world. She has many followers in UK, mainly because she studied at the Royal College of Art between 1989 end 1991. In 1996 she started her best-known series of prints, 100 "Mitate" prints, which she completed in 2016. She is mainly based in UK, and in recent yours she has had annual exhibitions of her work in the Royal Academy of Arts, London.
