Biography Yoson, Ikeda (1895 - 1988)

Born in Okayama, Yoson Ikeda first studied oil painting with Matsubara Sangorō (1864-1946); then he switched to Japanese style painting, and studied with Seihō Takeuchi (1864-1942). In 1987 he was awarded the Order of Culture.
