Biography Miyazaki, Yu (1973 - )

Yu MIYAZAKI (b.1973) is a contemporary artist living and working in Tokyo, Japan. She held her first solo exhibition in 2011, and continues to produce works using various materials including acrylic paints and pencil drawings. Her main subject are beautiful women. Her work was included in the book Bijin-ga zukushi (美人画づくし) Collection of Beauties in 2016. In 2023 she created her second Bijin-ga for the Adachi Institute of Woodcut Prints (アダチ版画現代の浮世絵), five years after the first one.
