Biography Shimizu Tōru (1938 - )

Shimizu Tōru was born in Toyama prefecture. He is a self-taught artist, who has mainly concentrated on woodblock prints, but who has also made screenprints. His subjects are mainly rooted in country life, and his work resembles that of of Katsuhira Tokushi (1904-1971).
