Biography Tsuchiya, Masao (1913 - 2008)

Born in Tokyo, Tsuchiya Masao began making woodblock prints in 1952, heavily influenced by Munakata Shikō; he especially adopted his figuratiive folk images. He was also influenced by Akiyama Iwao. He made stencil prints as well.
