Biography Ikeda, Masuo (1934 - 1997)

A short biography doesn't do justice to the multi-talent that Ikeda Masuo was. He was a painter, printmaker, illustrator, sculptor, ceramist, novelist and film-director. He won prestigious prizes all over the world; he entered the limelight in the 1960s, lived abroad and in Japan all his creative life, and was hugely successful.
