Biography Homma, Rie (1975 - )

Rie Homma (a female artist) was born in Kanagawa (South of Tokyo) in 1975. In 1999 she graduated at Nihon University College of Art. In the same year her work was accepted at the prestigious CWAJ (The College Women's Association of Japan) print show, and in the same year she exhibited at the 4th British International Miniature Print Exhibition in London.
From that moment on the exhibitions followed each other in rapid succession. Her first solo exhibition was in 2003 at Gallery Gray in Tokyo ("Rie Homma Woodblock Print Show").
In 2005 she completed a Fine Art master course at Nihon University Graduate School of Art, and she exhibited at the CWAJ prints show for the sixth time. Also her entry at the 2007 CWAJ was very successful.
